TFP Bureau, Raipur, April 19, 2024: In a landmark event, Chhattisgarh High Court Chief Justice Shri Ramesh Sinha inaugurated the virtual groundbreaking ceremony and laid the foundation stone for a residential colony dedicated to judicial officers and employees in Korba district. Emphasizing the significance of a well-equipped residential setup for judicial personnel, Chief Justice Sinha expressed his vision for the new colony to set a standard of excellence, becoming a model for the entire state.
Extending congratulations to the judicial officers and employees, Chief Justice Shri Sinha highlighted the ongoing efforts to enhance infrastructure within the courts and stressed the importance of providing a conducive working environment. He underscored the project’s role in addressing housing challenges faced by judicial officers and employees, urging the concerned departments to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
Addressing the ceremony, Chhattisgarh High Court Portfolio Judge Mr. Gautam Bhaduri emphasized housing as a fundamental need, noting the shortage of accommodation observed during inspections across districts. He expressed confidence that providing comprehensive housing facilities would enhance the efficiency and productivity of judicial personnel, enabling them to perform their duties effectively.
The virtual ceremony, successfully executed with the collaboration of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited and the Public Works Department, marked a significant milestone in addressing the housing needs of judicial officers and employees. Notably, the construction of residential complexes in Rampur Korba and Katghora demonstrates the commitment of the judiciary to provide modern housing solutions across districts.
The event was attended by District and Sessions Judge Mr. Satyendra Kumar Sahu, Special Judge Mr. Jaideep Garg, Additional Sessions Judge Mrs. Garima Sharma, and other dignitaries, reflecting the collective effort towards improving infrastructure and amenities within the judicial system.
