TFP Bureau, Raipur; April 21, 2024: In response to the severe heat wave conditions prevailing across the state, the Chhattisgarh Government’s School Education Department has issued an order extending the summer vacation for schools.
As per the departmental order dated 21/04/2024, a partial amendment has been made to the previous order dated 11.10.2023, Holiday. The amended order declares a summer vacation for government, aided, non-aided, and non-government schools from April 22, 2024, to June 15, 2024.
The decision to extend the summer vacation is aimed at safeguarding the health of students amid the scorching temperatures and heat wave conditions prevalent in the state.
However, it’s important to note that this order will not be applicable to teachers, and the remaining paragraphs of the departmental order dated 11.10.2023, will remain unchanged.
