Government School Buildings in 10 Villages Undergo Transformation

TFP Bureau, Raipur; May 3, 2024: In a bid to enhance the quality of education in rural areas, Adani Foundation has embarked on a Bala painting initiative, revitalizing classrooms in 10 government schools across 10 gram panchayats in the Tilda development block of Raipur district. The project, spearheaded by Adani Power Limited, Raipur, aims to rejuvenate learning environments through vibrant and engaging artwork, benefiting approximately 1000 children in the region.

The initiative underscores Adani Foundation’s commitment to social responsibility and its vision to empower local communities through education. By infusing creativity into basic education through Bala painting, the foundation seeks to make learning more captivating and enjoyable for young learners. The colorful and imaginative artwork not only sparks curiosity but also nurtures children’s creative thinking and encourages active participation in the learning process.

The Bala painting initiative is part of a broader effort by Adani Foundation to promote quality education, healthcare, and livelihood enhancement in rural areas. In the fiscal year 2023-24, the foundation undertook various programs aimed at improving the educational landscape and fostering holistic development among children in 14 nearby villages.
