Chhattisgarh Board Declares 2024 Examination Results: Pass Rates and Achievements Up

Significant improvements noted in high school and higher secondary outcomes

TFP Bureau, Raipur, May 10, 2024: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education has announced the results of the 2024 high school and higher secondary examinations, revealing notable achievements and advancements in student performance across both levels.

In the high school examination, a total of 3,45,686 candidates were registered, with 3,40,220 candidates appearing for the exams. Out of these, 1,54,799 were boys and 1,85,421 were girls. The results were declared for 3,39,994 candidates, among whom 2,57,072 successfully passed, reflecting a pass percentage of 75.61%. Notably, the pass rate for girls stood at 79.35%, while for boys it was 71.12%.

Furthermore, among the successful candidates, 1,17,519 passed with first division honors, 1,23,386 with second division, and 16,165 with third division. A temporary merit list was prepared excluding bonus marks, as per board decisions.

Similarly, in the higher secondary examination, a total of 2,61,077 candidates appeared, including 1,13,210 boys and 1,45,494 girls. Out of the declared results for 2,58,575 candidates, 2,08,789 successfully passed, achieving a pass percentage of 80.74%. The pass percentage for girls was 83.72% and for boys, it was 76.91%.

Among the successful higher secondary candidates, 88,101 achieved first division, 1,09,185 second division, and 11,498 third division.

Secretary of the Board of Secondary Education, Mrs. Pushpa Sahu, expressed gratitude to administrative officers, district collectors, police superintendents, and education department officials for their support in conducting and declaring the examination results smoothly.

The results, along with the temporary merit list, are available on the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education’s official website and other prominent platforms for easy access by candidates.

Congratulations and best wishes were extended to all successful candidates, with a reminder that perseverance is key to success for those who did not pass this year.
