Chief Justice Administers Oath to Judges at Chhattisgarh High Court

Three judges sworn in, including one permanent and two additional judges

TFP Bureau, Raipur, May 11, 2024: Chief Justice Shri Ramesh Sinha of the Chhattisgarh High Court in Bilaspur presided over a solemn ceremony where he administered the oath of office to Justice Shri Rakesh Mahan Pandey, Justice Shri Sachin Singh Rajput, and Justice Shri Radhakishan Aggarwal. The ceremony took place in the court hall at 4 pm, marking a significant moment in the judicial landscape of the state.

Justice Shri Rakesh Mahan Pandey was sworn in as a permanent judge, while Justice Shri Sachin Singh Rajput and Justice Shri Radhakishan Aggarwal took their oaths as additional judges. The esteemed judges, along with other dignitaries, graced the occasion with their presence.

The Department of Law and Legislative Affairs, New Delhi, issued a notification regarding the appointments on May 9, 2024, formalizing the induction of the newly appointed judges.

Among the distinguished attendees at the swearing-in ceremony were Advocate General Shri Prafull N. India, Deputy Solicitor General Shri Ramakant Mishra, President of the High Court Bar Association Shri Umakant Singh Chandel, senior advocates, officials of the High Court Bar Association, as well as advocates and judicial officers from the Registry and Judicial Academy.
