TFP Bureau, Raipur, May 19, 2024: Children across schools in Chhattisgarh are showcasing their hidden talents and skills as summer camps are in full swing during the vacation period. Under the leadership of Mr. Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi, Secretary of the School Education Department, positive and innovative initiatives are fostering creativity among the youth.
From Bastar to Surguja divisions, students are engaging in various activities aimed at enhancing basic literacy and numeracy skills in a joyful environment. This approach not only aligns with the recommendations of the National Education Policy 2020 but also provides a platform for children, parents, and teachers to connect.
The objective of these summer camps is to nurture children’s hidden talents, boost their self-confidence, and provide entertainment in a healthy environment. Secretary Pardeshi is continuously enhancing the program’s effectiveness by incorporating new elements each day. Additionally, NGOs and sports associations have been encouraged to volunteer in organizing these camps, further enriching the experience for the children.
Summer camps, running from 7 am to 9:30 am, offer children the opportunity to explore new adventures, learn new skills, and develop independence in a safe environment. This initiative not only encourages talent but also improves academic performance, as every child possesses unique abilities waiting to be discovered.
Under the guidance of the School Education Department and in collaboration with the Director of Public Instruction, Mrs. Divya Umesh Mishra, administrative and financial training is being provided to division and district officers through the Academy of Administration. This comprehensive approach aims to ensure the swift implementation of the National Education Policy, ultimately benefitting the educational landscape of Chhattisgarh.
