TFP Bureau, Raipur; May 20, 2024: The Chhattisgarh Government’s General Administration Department has announced the temporary appointment of Mrs. Richa Sharma, IAS (1994), as the Additional Chief Secretary for the Forest and Climate Change Department. This posting follows her return from central deputation and will remain in effect until further orders.
According to the official order issued on May 20, 2024, Mrs. Richa Sharma will assume the role of Additional Chief Secretary, relieving Mr. Manoj Kumar Pingua, IAS (1994), of the additional charge for the Forest and Climate Change Department. Mr. Pingua will continue to serve as the Additional Chief Secretary for the Home and Jail Department, as well as the Public Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education Department, without any changes to his other responsibilities.
This directive, issued in the name of the Governor of Chhattisgarh and signed by Upper Secretary Anvesh Ghritalahra, underscores the strategic administrative adjustments being made within the state’s bureaucracy to ensure effective governance and departmental oversight.
