India Declares State Mourning for Iran’s Late President and Foreign Minister

National Flags at Half-Mast; Government Cancels Entertainment Events

TFP Bureau, Raipur; May 21, 2024:  The Government of India has declared a one-day state mourning today in honor of the late Iranian President Dr. Seyyed Ibrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Mr. Hussein Amir Abdullahian.

During this period, national flags will be flown at half-mast on all government buildings where the flag is regularly hoisted. Additionally, all government-sponsored entertainment and cultural programs have been canceled as a mark of respect.
