TFP Bureau, Raipur; May 21, 2024: Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Mrs. Reena Babasaheb Kangale has directed all Collectors and District Election Officers to make necessary arrangements for pass-holding candidates, election agents, and counting agents at counting centres during the counting process. The directive includes provisions for providing analog calculators to candidates and their election agents to facilitate result tabulation inside the counting hall.

Inside the counting hall, pass-holding candidates, election agents, and counting agents will be provided with blank paper, a copy of Ballot Account Form 17C Part-1, a list of EVMs and VVPATs used in various polling stations, and plastic pens or pencils. Additionally, arrangements will be made for food distribution at the outer gate of the counting complex, with food packets provided by administrators appointed by candidates or polling agents.

District Election Officers have been instructed to inform candidates and election agents about these arrangements and ensure widespread publicity. Pass holders will be allowed to carry specific materials inside the counting hall, while certain items remain prohibited, including mobile phones, iPads, laptops, smartwatches, cameras, and tobacco products such as beedis, cigarettes, and gutka.
