TFP Bureau, Raipur, May 22, 2024: State Congress President Deepak Baij led a heartfelt tribute to the late former Prime Minister, Bharat Ratna Rajiv Gandhi, at the Chhattisgarh State Congress Headquarters, Rajiv Bhawan on May 21, 2024. The occasion marked the 33rd death anniversary of Shri Rajiv Gandhi and Anti-Terrorism Day.
In a solemn ceremony, members of the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee gathered to remember the virtues of Rajiv Gandhi. The portrait of the late leader was adorned with garlands and saluted as homage to his memory.
Anti-Terrorism Day was observed not only at the state headquarters but also across all district and block Congress offices in Chhattisgarh. Participants took a pledge against terrorism, honoring the legacy of Rajiv Gandhi.
State Congress President Deepak Baij presided over the event, alongside State Congress Communication Department Chairman Sushil Anand Shukla, Mahendra Chhabra, General Secretary Kanhaiya Aggarwal, and other prominent party members. The homage paid homage to Rajiv Gandhi’s enduring legacy and commitment to national unity and security.
