TFP Bureau, Raipur, May 29, 2024: The inaugural meeting of the working group, convened by the State NITI Aayog to focus on quality education for the Amrit Kaal Vision Document, concluded today at Niti Bhawan Nava Raipur, under the distinguished presence of Vice President Mr. Ajay Singh. The session witnessed valuable contributions from the working group members, with NITI Aayog member Dr. K. Subramaniam providing comprehensive insights into the objectives of the working groups formed by the State NITI Aayog to draft the Amrit Kaal Chhattisgarh Vision 2047 Document.
During the meeting, a detailed presentation outlined the primary objectives, major challenges, and departmental visions concerning quality education. Advisor Dr. Dhirendra Tiwari also offered valuable input during the deliberations.
Mr. Siddharth Komal Pardeshi, Secretary of the School Education Department, provided an overview of various initiatives undertaken by the department to enhance education quality, aligning with the preparation of the Chhattisgarh Vision Document. Dr. S. Bharatidasan, Secretary of the Technical Education and Skill Development Department, highlighted key departmental insights relevant to the vision document. Additionally, Mrs. Sharda Verma, Commissioner of Higher Education, elaborated on the Higher Education Department’s activities.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Anoop Shrivastava, Member Secretary of NITI Aayog, Joint Directors Dr. Neetu Gaudia and Mrs. Vatsala Mishra, along with representatives from the School Education, Higher Education, and Technical Education departments, as well as other relevant institutions such as the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Chhattisgarh Skill Development Authority, Chhattisgarh Science and Technology, IIT Bhilai, IIM Raipur, NIT Raipur, and advisors of NITI Aayog.
The discussions underscored a collective commitment to formulating strategies aimed at enhancing education standards and fostering a knowledge-driven society in Chhattisgarh.
