Chief Minister Plants Trees with Family on World Environment Day

Vishnu Dev Sai Urges Citizens to Contribute to a Greener Environment

TFP Bureau, Raipur, June 6, 2024: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, accompanied by his wife Smt. Kaushalya Sai and family members, marked World Environment Day by planting neem, Rudraksh, and chiku saplings at his residence. Emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation, he appealed to the people of Chhattisgarh to plant trees around their homes and ensure their growth.

Chief Minister Sai encouraged everyone to take advantage of the upcoming monsoon season by planting as many trees as possible, transforming homes, villages, cities, and forests into lush green spaces. He highlighted the state government’s commitment to environmental protection and called on citizens to join these efforts.

The event also saw the presence of DFO Shri Loknath Patel, SDO Shri V.N. Mukherjee, and other officers and employees of the Chief Minister’s residence, demonstrating a collective effort towards a sustainable future.
