World Leaders Congratulate PM Narendra Modi on Third Term

Modi thanks global leaders for their messages, underscores commitment to strengthening bilateral ties

TFP Bureau, New Delhi; June 11, 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been receiving a wave of congratulatory messages from world leaders after assuming office for the third time. Modi expressed his gratitude to these leaders, replying to their messages and phone calls on the social media platform ‘X’.

Responding to Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, Modi said, “Grateful for your warm wishes President Díaz-Canel. We remain committed to enhancing our bilateral ties with Cuba that are rooted in age-old people-to-people connect.”

In a message to Paraguayan President Santiago Peña, Modi appreciated the greetings, stating, “We will continue to advance India-Paraguay relations for the benefit of our people.”

To Panamanian President Laurentino Cortizo, Modi replied, “Thank you, President Nito Cortizo. Panama is a key partner. We will work together to strengthen our mutually beneficial partnership in all its dimensions.”

Addressing Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, Modi said, “Thank you, President Rumen Radev. We will continue to work together to deepen the partnership between India and Bulgaria.”

During a phone call with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman, Modi expressed his appreciation, saying, “Thank His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik for his call and deeply appreciate his warm felicitations and words of friendship. The centuries-old India-Oman strategic ties are destined to scale new heights.”

The Prime Minister’s engagement with world leaders highlights India’s commitment to fostering and expanding international relationships under Modi’s leadership.
