Chhattisgarh Health Employees Union Ends Strike After Government Intervention

Chief Minister and Health Minister Address Union’s Three-Point Demands

TFP Bureau, Raipur, June 25, 2024:The Chhattisgarh State Health Employees Union has agreed to end their strike immediately after intervention from Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal. Following their directives, the union’s three-point demands were thoroughly discussed.

The Mission Director of the National Health Mission Chhattisgarh engaged in detailed discussions with the union’s delegation at the National Health Mission Headquarters. A primary focus was the union’s demand for work-based incentives for Community Health Officers.

Notably, Rs 43.92 crore has already been disbursed to the districts to address these payments. Additionally, a committee will be established at the headquarters level to review the remaining demands within a set timeframe. This resolution prompted the union to withdraw their strike immediately.
