TFP Bureau, New Delhi, June 25, 2024: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi today, congratulating him on his third term as Prime Minister. During their meeting, CM Sai provided updates on the state’s development plans and anti-Maoist initiatives.
Chief Minister Sai briefed the Prime Minister on the “Amritkaal: Chhattisgarh Vision @2047” document, currently being prepared by the State NITI Aayog. He announced that the Vision Document, aimed at guiding the state’s development for the next few decades, will be dedicated to the people of Chhattisgarh on November 1.
The Chief Minister also updated the Prime Minister on recent anti-Maoist operations. He highlighted the Niyad Nellanar Yojana (Your Ideal Village), which focuses on weakening Naxalite influence and rebuilding trust between the government, administration, and villagers. Under this scheme, 23 camps have been opened, covering 90 villages, with plans for 29 more camps in the future.
In addition to his meeting with the Prime Minister, CM Sai met with Chhattisgarh’s newly elected MPs at Parliament House and had lunch with them, reinforcing the state’s united approach towards its developmental and security goals.
