TFP Bureau, Raipur, June 26, 2024: The Jandarshan program, reinstated after a long hiatus, is more than just a medium for meeting people; it is a bridge of trust facilitating dialogue, problem-solving, and state development. Enthusiasm is high as the Jandarshan program resumes at the Chief Minister’s residence, allowing citizens to share their joys and sorrows directly with their leader. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, known for his simplicity and approachability, will engage in direct communication with the public starting at 11 a.m. on June 27.
Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s grounded approach is evident in his decision to connect directly with the public through the Jandarshan program. Coming from a simple rural background, the Chief Minister aims to be more accessible to the general populace. In a role filled with constant engagements, organizing the Jandarshan program to meet the needy people across the state is both a courageous and commendable decision.
The Chief Minister frequently meets with the public at his Raipur residence and during district programs, addressing their concerns. He has also established a separate camp in his home village, Bagia, to resolve local issues. Even in his absence, his wife meets with locals to offer support and advice. Through the Jandarshan program in Bagia, the Chief Minister has resolved numerous issues, such as arranging an ambulance for a critically ill patient.
A notable example is Sukanti Bai Chauhan from Jashpur district, who severely burned her leg while cooking and was unable to walk. Through the Jandarshan program, the Chief Minister ensured she received treatment in Raipur. After her recovery, Sukanti Bai was able to walk again, and the Chief Minister personally checked on her well-being. This compassionate act highlights his sensitivity towards the needy and helpless.
Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s decision to start the Jandarshan program at his residence every Thursday will allow direct communication with people from across the state. From Surguja to Bastar, the Chief Minister will hear grievances and complaints firsthand, expediting their resolution. This direct access will not only enhance good governance within the administration but also strengthen public trust in the government.
The Chief Minister’s decision to hold the Jandarshan program every Thursday reflects his closeness to the people, sensitivity to their problems, and commitment to responsible leadership. This initiative is set to make problem-solving and public communication more efficient and effective.
