Chief Minister Participates in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Program

Calls for Residents to Join ‘One Tree in Mother’s Name’ Campaign

TFP Bureau, Raipur, June 30, 2024: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai attended Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program at Swadeshi Bhavan, Shanti Nagar, Raipur. The event was graced by Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Tankaram Verma, MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, and Chief Minister’s Advisor Shri Pankaj Jha.

During the program, Chief Minister Shri Sai highlighted the Prime Minister’s practice of sharing insights on the last Sunday of every month at 11 am. Today, PM Modi praised the women of the self-help group in Attapadi village, Kerala, who have successfully marketed their ‘Maruthumbi’ umbrellas, boosting their sales. He also emphasized the remarkable opportunities being provided to athletes under Modi Ji’s leadership, enabling them to achieve significant success nationally and internationally.

Chief Minister Shri Sai urged the residents of Chhattisgarh to participate in the Prime Minister’s ‘One Tree in Mother’s Name’ (Ek Ped Ma ke Naam) campaign by planting a sapling in honor of their mothers. He stressed that if each of India’s 140 crore citizens planted one sapling, it would spark a major environmental revolution.

Sports Minister Shri Tankaram Verma echoed these sentiments, stating that Prime Minister Modi continues to meet the aspirations of millions through ‘Mann Ki Baat’. The event saw a large turnout, including notable attendees such as Shri Lokesh Kawadiya, Shri Nitin Patel, Shri Anup Khelkar, Sudip, and Shri Pritam Mahanand.
