TFP Bureau, Raipur, July 1, 2024: On the directive of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, Finance Minister Shri OP Choudhary has sanctioned Rs 79.19 crore for 17 colleges across Chhattisgarh. This substantial investment aims to improve the quality and scope of higher education and research in the state.
The allocated funds will be utilized to expand educational services and provide top-notch education, offering the youth of Chhattisgarh opportunities to gain advanced skills and expertise. This move underscores Finance Minister Choudhary’s commitment to fostering career growth and educational progress for the state’s youth.
The colleges benefiting from this funding span across tribal-dominated regions such as Bastar and Sarguja, as well as the plains of Chhattisgarh. Notable recipients include Government College Samoda (Raipur), Government College Mopka-Nipaniya (Balodabazar-Bhatapara), Government College Pirda (Mahasamund), Government College Thelkadih (Rajnandgaon), Government College Baramkela (Raigarh), Government College Nagarda (Janjgir-Champa), Government College Sakri (Bilaspur), Government College Saragaon (Janjgir-Champa), and Government College Basin (Balod), among others.
