Thousands of Youth Employed at Mega Placement Camp Organized Under Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai’s Initiative

Employment Camp Brings New Hope to Job Seekers, Including Divyang Sunny Kurre

TFP Bureau, Raipur, July 2, 2024: A mega placement camp organized by the district administration on the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai has successfully provided employment to thousands of youths. This camp has offered new opportunities for those who have been struggling to find jobs for years, fulfilling the aspirations of many young individuals and their families.

One notable success story is that of Divyang Shri Sunny Kumar Kurre, a resident of Bhartiya Nagar. At 25 years old, Sunny attended the placement camp as soon as he learned about it. Today, he proudly holds an appointment letter from Shri Shyam Hospital, where he has been hired as billing staff. Sunny expressed his gratitude, saying he never imagined securing a job at such a reputable institution.

Sunny’s journey has been challenging. In 2012, an accident changed his life dramatically. While getting a gas balloon for his brother’s birthday, a cylinder blast caused him to lose both legs. This tragic incident devastated his family, especially as Sunny was their eldest son. Despite the hardships, he has been supporting his family of eight through various small jobs. The Social Welfare Department has also provided him with a tricycle to aid his mobility.

Securing this job has been a significant relief for Sunny and his family. He is deeply thankful to Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and the district administration for their efforts in organizing such beneficial employment camps. He believes these initiatives are crucial for unemployed individuals like himself.

Placement camp nodal officer Tanmay Khanna reported that 1,700 youths received job offers during the camp. These individuals are gradually being employed by private companies, marking a positive shift in the employment landscape of the region.
