TFP Bureau, Raipur, July 5, 2024: Chhattisgarh has recorded an average rainfall of 212.6 mm from June 1 to the morning of July 4, according to data compiled by the State Level Flood Control Room, established by the Department of Revenue and Disaster Management. The highest rainfall was reported in Bijapur district at 300.8 mm, while Surguja district saw the lowest.
The following districts reported varying levels of rainfall: Surajpur recorded 179.9 mm, Balrampur 203.4 mm, Rewa 186.2 mm, and Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur 179.6 mm.
In the Raipur district, rainfall measured 195.4 mm. Balodabazar received 207.8 mm, Gariaband 227.4 mm, Mahasamund 226.4 mm, Dhamtari 222.2 mm, Bilaspur 202.0 mm, Mungeli 194.2 mm, Raigarh 217.6 mm, Sarangarh-Bilaigarh 174.4 mm, and Janjgir-Champa 225.1 mm.
Sakti recorded 184.7 mm, Korba 219.3 mm, Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi 213.9 mm, Durg 176.3 mm, Kabirdham 165.2 mm, Rajnandgaon 185.5 mm, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki 225.3 mm, and Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai 133.9 mm. Balod saw 228.4 mm, Bemetara 193.9 mm, Bastar 248.7 mm, Kondagaon 251 mm, Narayanpur 280.1 mm, Dantewada 240.0 mm, and Sukma reported the highest at 379.1 mm.
