TFP Bureau, Raipur; July 5, 2024: Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Shri Tokhan Sahu, inaugurated the Sampurnata Abhiyan in Gram Panchayat Sarabahra of Gaurela Vikaskhand, marking a significant step towards holistic development in the aspirational block. Emphasizing the campaign’s objectives, Shri Sahu urged stakeholders to strive for 100% achievement across six crucial indicators outlined by NITI Aayog.
The Sampurnata Abhiyan, aligned with the priorities of both the Central and State Governments, aims to ensure comprehensive benefits reach all beneficiaries in the aspirational block. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision underscores six key indicators essential for India’s development trajectory, including early prenatal care, diabetes and hypertension testing, regular checkups for pregnant women under the ICDS program, distribution of supplementary nutrition, soil testing, and supporting self-help groups with revolving funds.
During the launch, a message from Prime Minister Modi highlighted the transformative impact of these initiatives on improving quality of life. Minister Sahu reaffirmed the government’s commitment to public welfare, citing initiatives such as housing for three crore people and schemes like Kisan Samman Nidhi and Ujjwala Yojana.
Minister Sahu encouraged active participation from attendees, including District Panchayat Chairman Arun Chauhan, Collector Leena Kamlesh Mandavi, and other dignitaries, in making the Gaurela block a model of health, capability, and prosperity. The event featured departmental exhibitions and interactive sessions to promote awareness and engagement with Sampurnata Abhiyan’s objectives.
The launch witnessed a robust turnout of public representatives, community leaders, and women’s groups, highlighting the collective commitment towards achieving comprehensive development goals in Gaurela block.
