TFP Bureau, Raipur; July 5, 2024: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed profound grief over the tragic deaths of nine individuals in separate incidents in Korba and Sakti districts. The fatalities include four people who succumbed to toxic gas in a well in Korba and five who died in a similar incident in Sakti. Among the victims were a father and his daughter in Korba, and a father along with his two sons in Sakti.
Shri Sai extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and announced financial assistance of Rs. 9 lakh for each victim’s family. This aid comprises Rs. 4 lakh under RBC rule 6-4 and an additional Rs. 5 lakh from the Chief Minister’s fund. The Chief Minister has also directed officials to ensure swift disbursement of the financial aid to support the affected families during this difficult time.
