Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai Pledges Committee for Panchayat Secretaries’ Governmentization Demand

Committee formation announced at State Panchayat Secretary Association felicitation

TFP Bureau, Raipur; July 7, 2024: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai today marked Panchayat Secretary Day by attending a felicitation ceremony organized by the Chhattisgarh State Panchayat Secretary Association at the Sardar Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium in Raipur. During his address, the Chief Minister assured full support for the Panchayat Secretaries, announcing the formation of a committee to address their demand for governmentization.

Chief Minister Shri Sai, who himself served as a Panch and unopposed Sarpanch for five years, emphasized the pivotal role of Panchayats in national development. He praised the dedication of Panchayat Secretaries and urged them to rededicate themselves to their work for even greater achievements.

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh commended Chief Minister Shri Sai for swiftly fulfilling several commitments since assuming office, highlighting his extensive experience from grassroots to governance. Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Panchayat and Rural Development Shri Vijay Sharma lauded the government’s prompt actions in clearing pending dues and ensuring effective implementation of central and state schemes through Panchayat Secretaries.

Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade affirmed the government’s commitment to addressing village issues through the Panchayat Secretaries, who serve as crucial conduits for government schemes. MP Durg Shri Vijay Baghel echoed these sentiments, praising the Chief Minister for his responsive governance and acknowledging the pivotal role of Panchayat Secretaries in grassroots development.

The event was attended by Panchayat Secretary Union President Shri Upendra Singh Pankra and other dignitaries, who expressed gratitude for the Chief Minister’s support and leadership in addressing their concerns effectively.
