TFP Bureau, Raipur; July 8, 2024: Chhattisgarh has recorded an average rainfall of 196.5 mm since June 1, 2024, according to data compiled by the State Level Control Room set up by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department of the State Government. The figures indicate varying rainfall patterns across different districts, with Korba district reporting the highest average rainfall of 329.7 mm, while Surguja district recorded the lowest at 94.0 mm.
From June 1 until now, Surajpur district received an average of 135.5 mm of rainfall, Balrampur 222.4 mm, Jashpur 188.4 mm, Korea 175.7 mm, and Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur 138.3 mm, according to the State Level Flood Control Room.
In other districts, Raipur recorded 169.9 mm, Baloda Bazar 244.4 mm, Gariaband 168.6 mm, Mahasamund 166.0 mm, Dhamtari 169.5 mm, Bilaspur 284.0 mm, Mungeli 238.3 mm, Raigarh 263.0 mm, Sarangarh-Bilaigarh 149.2 mm, Janjgir-Champa 219.7 mm, Sakti 207.4 mm, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi 270.7 mm, and Durg 118.6 mm.
Kabirdham district recorded 187.7 mm, Rajnandgaon 164.0 mm, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagadhchowki 164.3 mm, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai 140.3 mm, Balod 164.2 mm, Bemetara 112.5 mm, Bastar 238.8 mm, Kondagaon 139.8 mm, Kanker 179.7 mm, Narayanpur 204.9 mm, Dantewada 191.2 mm, Sukma 327.8 mm, and Bijapur 316.1 mm.
