TFP Bureau, Raipur; August 4, 2024: During the Governors’ Conference held in New Delhi from August 1 to 3, Chhattisgarh Governor Ramen Deka presented a detailed report on the development of tribal areas in the state. The conference, chaired by President Draupadi Murmu, focused on the progress and challenges in enhancing infrastructure and security in Chhattisgarh’s aspiring districts and border areas. Governor Deka highlighted initiatives in Mudavedi village, Bijapur district, which has seen road expansions and increased security measures, significantly improving education access for children in the area.
In addition to his presentation, Governor Deka held courtesy meetings with key national leaders. On August 2, he met with Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, presenting him with a bouquet. The meeting was attended by Dr. Sudesh Dhankhar, the Vice President’s wife, and Smt. Rani Deka Kakoti, Governor Deka’s wife.
The following day, Governor Deka also met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where he presented a bouquet and a shawl as a gesture of goodwill. These interactions underscore the ongoing efforts to foster strong relationships between Chhattisgarh’s leadership and the central government.
