TFP Bureau, Raipur; August 9, 2024: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the Chhattisgarh government is intensifying efforts to provide security in the Maoist-affected Bastar Division by increasing the number of security camps. Alongside these security measures, the government is implementing innovative schemes like the “Niyad Nellanar” Scheme, aimed at making central and state welfare programs accessible to villages within a 5-kilometer radius of these camps. This initiative has not only improved security but has also strengthened the trust and confidence of local communities in the government and administration.
The Niyad Nellanar Scheme is playing a crucial role in creating employment opportunities for the youth by enhancing their skills in various trades. The state government, under the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, is committed to providing quality education and valuable skills to the youth, ensuring they are well-equipped for the job market.
In Dantewada district, as part of the ambitious Niyad Nellanar Scheme, 21 women from Gamawada village, under the Basanpur camp, are receiving specialized training in handloom. This training is designed to help them develop new livelihood resources and achieve financial independence. Additionally, 12 students are being trained in various trades, including Associate, Desktop Assistant, Hand Embroidery, and Two-Wheeler Service Assistant, at the Livelihood College under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana.
The scheme has proven to be a significant step towards skilling the unemployed youth of the district. By offering training in a wide range of trades, the initiative is providing these young individuals with the opportunity to become self-reliant and contribute to the economic development of their communities.
