Chief Minister’s Initiative: 650 New Positions to be Filled in Health Department

Significant Recruitment Drive Launched to Strengthen Healthcare Services in the State

TFP Bureau, Raipur; September 19, 2024: In a major move aimed at enhancing healthcare services across the state, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has initiated the recruitment of 650 new positions in the Health Department. This recruitment drive is part of ongoing efforts to bolster the state’s healthcare system with both advanced medical equipment and a skilled workforce.

Following the Chief Minister’s directives, the Finance Department has approved the hiring for various vacant positions. Finance Minister Shri OP Choudhary confirmed that recruitment permission has been granted for positions such as Staff Nurse, Technician, Rural Health Coordinator, Dresser, Ward Boy, and Ward Aaya, among others.

Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal stated that advertisements for these positions will be issued soon, ensuring hospitals are adequately staffed to meet the growing healthcare demands. The approved positions include 225 posts for Staff Nurse, 5 for Psychiatric Nurse, and 15 for OT Technicians. Additionally, 100 positions each for male and female Rural Health Coordinators, 50 each for Ward Boy and Ward Aaya, along with other crucial roles, are part of the recruitment plan.

This initiative is seen as a crucial step towards improving healthcare accessibility and quality for the people of Chhattisgarh.
