TFP Bureau, Raipur, September 26, 2024: The Chhattisgarh Public Relations Officers Association has officially expressed its support for the pen down and work stop strike organized by the Chhattisgarh Employees Officers Federation on September 27, 2024. Association President Mr. Balmukund Tamboli announced that this strike aims to address various demands of state government employees.
Mr. Tamboli outlined the key issues prompting the strike, including a demand for a 4% dearness allowance effective from the due date, similar to the Central Government’s provisions. Other demands include the adjustment of dearness allowance arrears pending since July 2019 in the General Provident Fund (GPF) accounts, encashment of 300 days of earned leave, the establishment of a four-level time scale pay structure, and approval of house rent allowance comparable to that of the Central Government.
Mr. Tamboli commended the decision of the Federation, stating that it is made in the best interest of all government servants. The Chhattisgarh Public Relations Officers Association firmly believes that the upcoming strike is justified and is committed to supporting the cause of employees and officers across the state.
