TFP Bureau, Raipur, September 26, 2024: Union Health and Family Welfare Minister, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, visited Raipur’s Nalanda Library on Thursday evening, where he interacted with young aspirants preparing for competitive exams. Accompanied by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary, Shri Nadda praised the library’s modern facilities and its role in supporting students preparing for UPSC, CGPSC, and other recruitment examinations.
During his visit, Shri Nadda lauded the efforts of Chief Minister Sai and Finance Minister Choudhary in establishing Nalanda Campus, noting that such initiatives significantly contribute to the future of the state’s youth. He expressed appreciation for the library’s 24-hour operation, advanced RFID book issuance system, and high-speed internet, which together create an ideal study environment.
Interacting with students, the Union Minister inquired about their exam preparations and listened to testimonials from those who had succeeded after utilizing the library’s resources. Shri Nadda encouraged the aspirants, wishing them success in their endeavors, and emphasized that Nalanda Library would play a key role in shaping their futures. He also highlighted the state government’s efforts to enhance IT infrastructure and employment opportunities for youth across Chhattisgarh.
Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary shared that the Nalanda Library can accommodate up to 1,000 students and provides books upon request, making it a hub for focused learning. He also pointed out that the library’s model is being replicated in 22 cities across the state to further assist students in their competitive exam preparations.
Among those in attendance were MLA Shri Kiran Deo, Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh, SSP Shri Santosh Singh, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shri Abinash Mishra, and District Panchayat CEO Shri Vishwadeep, along with other officials.
