TFP Bureau, Raipur; September 27, 2024: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai is set to inaugurate the “Central India Connect Marketplace-2024” on World Tourism Day, September 27. Organized by the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board in partnership with the Chhattisgarh Travel Trade Association (CGTTA), the event will take place at Hotel Mayfair in Nava Raipur, beginning at 2 PM today. The event will feature expert panel discussions, cultural performances, tourism exhibitions, and stalls, all designed to highlight the vast potential of Chhattisgarh’s tourism sector.
The primary focus of the event is to showcase the scenic beauty, cultural richness, and heritage of Chhattisgarh on an international platform, aligning with the World Tourism Day 2024 theme of “Tourism and Peace.” Through targeted branding and promotion efforts, the goal is to position Chhattisgarh as a prominent hub for tourism, attracting both domestic and international visitors.
Key sessions during the event will focus on new investment prospects and emerging opportunities in the state’s tourism industry. Experts, entrepreneurs, and investors will provide insights on expanding the tourism landscape and unlocking Chhattisgarh’s unique attractions. Senior tourism department officials, along with CGTTA representatives and tourism professionals from across the state, will be in attendance. The event is expected to significantly boost both cultural and economic development in Chhattisgarh.
