TFP Bureau, Raipur; October 3, 2024: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai flagged off a special bus service for devotees traveling to Maa Bamleshwari Dham on the first day of Sharadiya Navratri. The flagging-off ceremony took place at the Chief Minister’s residence, where he extended his best wishes to the pilgrims embarking on their spiritual journey. Devotees, in turn, offered their “Happy Navratri” greetings to the Chief Minister.
The free bus service, organized by the Maa Kali Annadan Bhandara Samiti, has been providing transportation to pilgrims for the past nine years. This year, the service has been expanded to include four buses per day over the next five days, ensuring maximum convenience for devotees visiting the revered shrine.
Each bus is equipped with comfortable seating and begins its journey with chants of Maa Bamleshwari’s name, accompanied by devotional songs like bhajans and kirtans. The buses will shuttle pilgrims from Raipur to the Maa Bamleshwari Dham located atop the Dongargarh hill, a famous pilgrimage site in Chhattisgarh.
The Maa Kali Annadan Bhandara Samiti covers all travel expenses, making this service completely free of cost for the devotees. The buses are scheduled to leave at regular intervals throughout the day, ensuring timely and hassle-free transportation.
Shri Sanjay Srivastava and Shri Deepak Bhardwaj, President of the Maa Kali Annadan Bhandara Samiti, were also present at the event. The initiative is expected to help hundreds of devotees in their religious pilgrimage during the auspicious Navratri festival.
