TFP Bureau, Raipur, October 24, 2024: President Smt. Draupadi Murmu is scheduled to arrive in Raipur on October 25 for a two-day visit. During her stay, she will take part in various programs in Raipur and Durg district on October 25 and 26.
According to the official itinerary, President Murmu will arrive at Swami Vivekananda Airport, Raipur, at 11:10 AM on October 25. She will head to AIIMS Raipur to attend its second convocation as the chief guest from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM. Following this, she will proceed to Raj Bhavan at 1:00 PM.
In the afternoon, at 3:30 PM, President Murmu will attend the 14th convocation of NIT Raipur as the chief guest. Later, from 5:15 PM to 6:30 PM, she will visit Purkhauti Muktangan, where she will launch the 9th installment of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, benefiting 70 lakh women with monthly financial assistance of Rs. 1,000. She will also inaugurate the Sarguja block at the venue and engage with the tribal community. After returning to Raj Bhavan, President Murmu will attend a dinner hosted by Governor Shri Ramen Deka and stay overnight.
On October 26, President Murmu will visit Sri Jagannath Temple in Raipur at 9:20 AM before departing for Bhilai to attend the fourth convocation of IIT Bhilai as the chief guest from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM. Upon returning to Raipur, she will join a luncheon hosted by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai at his official residence in Nava Raipur.
President Murmu’s final event will be the third convocation at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Memorial Health Science and Ayush University in Nava Raipur at 3:30 PM. She will then depart for New Delhi from Raipur Airport at 5:10 PM.
