TFP Bureau, Raipur, November 20, 2024: Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai met with Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah at North Block in New Delhi to discuss key issues related to Chhattisgarh’s development, security, and the ongoing fight against Naxalism.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Sai provided updates on the progress of anti-Naxal operations and the steps being taken to bring positive changes to affected regions. Highlighting the state’s efforts in road construction, education, healthcare, and employment, he emphasized how these initiatives are fostering development and stability in areas once dominated by Naxal influence.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah appreciated the state’s achievements and reaffirmed the central government’s commitment to providing full support. He also commended Chhattisgarh’s proactive approach and pledged continued assistance to strengthen security measures and ensure the success of development projects.
The meeting included discussions on strategies for eradicating Naxalism, with Chief Minister Sai reiterating the state’s goal of eliminating the menace by March 2026. “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, we have achieved significant milestones. Over the last 11 months, around 200 Naxalites have been neutralized, and more than 700 have surrendered. These efforts are creating a new era of peace and progress in Chhattisgarh,” Shri Sai said.
He credited the central government’s guidance and support for the state’s achievements in security and development. The Chief Minister emphasized that the collaborative efforts between the state and central governments are essential in realizing the vision of a Naxal-free Chhattisgarh.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah assured the state of continued assistance in its fight against Naxalism and in advancing developmental initiatives to ensure sustained peace and prosperity.
