TFP Bureau, Raipur, November 22, 2024: In a significant breakthrough against Naxalism, security forces killed 10 Naxalites in a major operation conducted in Sukma district this morning. The successful action underscores the state’s intensified efforts to combat insurgency in the Bastar region.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai commended the security forces for their bravery and dedication. Expressing satisfaction over the operation, he reaffirmed his government’s commitment to a policy of zero tolerance towards Naxalism. “Ensuring development, peace, and safety for the citizens of Bastar remains our top priority. The era of peace, progress, and prosperity has returned to the region,” he stated.
The Chief Minister also emphasized the state’s strategic approach to eliminate Naxalism, aligning with Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah’s target of eradicating the insurgency from Chhattisgarh by March 2026. “We are moving forward in a planned manner to achieve this goal. The complete elimination of Naxalites from the state is certain,” he added.
The operation is a testament to the government’s unwavering resolve to restore peace and accelerate development in one of the most challenging regions of Chhattisgarh.
