TFP Bureau, Raipur, November 26, 2024: Health Minister and local MLA of Manendragarh, Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, conducted a thorough inspection of several paddy procurement centers in the region, ensuring smooth operations and fair practices in the ongoing procurement process.
During his visit to centers in Ratanpur, Bardar, Khargwan, and Bada Bazar, Shri Jaiswal reviewed the facilities available to farmers and monitored the procurement process conducted by the committees. In an effort to appreciate the farmers’ hard work, he honored those present by garlanding them and presenting coconuts.
Shri Jaiswal emphasized that paddy should be purchased strictly at the rate of **21 quintals per acre**, as directed by the state government. “On the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, the procurement process is being carried out efficiently across all districts,” he remarked.
The minister issued a stern warning, stating, “Strict action will be taken against committees if any complaints are received about farmers being denied the mandated 21 quintals per acre quota.”
Shri Jaiswal’s visit underscored the government’s commitment to ensuring transparency and fairness in paddy procurement while addressing the concerns of farmers at the grassroots level.
