Deputy Chief Minister Launches New Portal for Urban Administration and Development Department

Portal Aims to Enhance Transparency, Efficiency, and Monitoring of Urban Development Projects

TFP Bureau, Raipur, November 26, 2024: In a significant move towards digital transformation, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw launched the new departmental portal for the Urban Administration and Development Department, http://www.cguadfinance.in, at a program held at Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Stadium in Mungeli.

During the launch, Shri Saw highlighted that the portal will streamline the monitoring and review of various urban development schemes, ensuring greater transparency and efficiency in the process. He emphasized that this initiative aligns with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision for a Digital India and a developed nation by 2047. “This portal will not only help in effective monitoring but also move us closer to a paperless administration and digital empowerment,” he said.

The newly developed portal will serve as a key tool for tracking both the physical and financial progress of urban development projects. By providing real-time updates, it aims to ensure that citizens fully benefit from government schemes. The portal will simplify and expedite the review of infrastructure works funded through the 15th Finance Commission, as well as monitor the release of funds to urban bodies.

It will enhance the transparency and effectiveness of urban bodies by enabling detailed monitoring of various ongoing projects. Shri Saw’s initiative is expected to accelerate the completion of urban development works, ensuring timely delivery of services to the residents. The launch event saw the participation of several public representatives, including Mungeli Collector Mr. Rahul Dev and Superintendent of Police Mr. Bhojram Patel, as well as local citizens.
