TFP Bureau Raipur, Novemberb27, 2024:  Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, on his birthday, announced a series of major development projects worth Rs 20.25 crore for the Mungeli Municipality. The announcements were made during a program held at Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Stadium in Mungeli. These funds are earmarked for various initiatives, including the construction of a new municipal building with parking facilities, renovation of Gaurav Path in Ward 8, and the beautification of road dividers and Budhwari Bazaar in Ward 6. The plans also include the redevelopment of Swami Vivekananda Chowk, the construction of a swimming pool at the stadium complex in Ward 8, the revitalization of Pushp Vatika Garden, and the installation of five welcome gates across Mungeli city.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Arun Sao highlighted the proactive development under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai. He assured residents that the state government, under the “double-engine” model, is fully committed to the area’s progress, with no shortage of funds for development projects. He further emphasized that the government is working tirelessly to fulfill every development promise made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Groundbreaking Ceremony in Lormi

In addition to the Mungeli announcements, Deputy Chief Minister Sao also conducted the Bhoomi Pujan (groundbreaking) for several major construction works in Lormi. These projects, totaling Rs 9.84 crore, include the upgrading of Manas Manch, beautification of Ranigaon Pond, and the construction of a first-floor parking facility at the municipal office. The plans also cover the development of CC roads, drains, and entrance gates on Mungeli and Pandaria Roads. Works in Ward 11 include the Atal Complex and installation of a statue at Karma Mata Chowk, while Ward 15 will see the installation of a statue at Ambedkar Chowk. Other projects include RCC culverts in Ward 10 and Ranigaon and various road construction projects.

The programs were attended by a large number of public representatives and prominent citizens, further solidifying the state’s commitment to infrastructure development in the region.
