Speaking at a seminar organized to commemorate Constitution Day, the Governor emphasized the importance of preserving the fundamental values of equality, freedom, and justice enshrined in the document.

The event was held at the auditorium of Shri Balaji Group of Hospitals and Colleges, Raipur, where Governor Shri Deka served as the chief guest. Reflecting on the Constitution’s legacy, he noted that India’s framework was developed by studying the constitutions of 60 countries and has evolved through necessary amendments to meet the changing needs of the nation while maintaining its core principles.

“Our Constitution is the most beautiful in the world,” stated Shri Deka. “It strikes a remarkable balance between stability and flexibility, which has been crucial in addressing challenges over the past 75 years.” He also highlighted the Constitution’s provisions for freedom of speech and the empowerment of women, urging greater participation of women in politics and leadership roles.

Shri Saw proudly noted that the original Constitution was translated into Hindi under the leadership of Chhattisgarh’s Shri Ghanshyam Das Gupta, a contribution that remains a source of pride for the state.

“Today, India is prepared to lead the world, and the foundation of this readiness lies in our Constitution,” Shri Saw remarked.

The keynote speaker, Shri Laxminarayan Bhala, author of *Hamara Samvidhaan Bhaav Evam Rekhaanan* and *Samvidhaan Ki Janm Katha*, provided insights into the history of Constitution-making. He expressed gratitude for the government’s decision to commemorate Constitution Day annually on November 26.
