TFP Bureau, Raipur, December 2, 2024: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will release the 10th installment of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana on December 3 in Raigarh, transferring ₹1,000 each to the accounts of over 70 lakh women across Chhattisgarh. The total disbursement of ₹652.04 crore under the scheme will be celebrated as a milestone in women’s empowerment.
The event, scheduled at Shaheed Colonel Viplav Tripathi Mini Stadium, marks another step in the government’s commitment to economic upliftment for women. Since its inception in March 2024, the scheme has provided ₹6,530.70 crore in financial assistance to women across the state.
The Chief Minister will also lay the foundation stone for the Nalanda Campus, a ₹42-crore educational project to be developed near Marine Drive, Raigarh, modeled on a similar campus in Raipur. Additionally, development works worth ₹135 crore will be inaugurated or launched during the event, including 67 completed projects costing ₹97.51 crore and the foundation for 13 new projects valued at ₹37.58 crore.
CM Sai’s visit will include a packed schedule, beginning with his arrival by helicopter at 11:55 AM. He will address the Utkal Brahmin Conference at the Corporation Auditorium, followed by the Bhoomi Pujan for the Nalanda Campus and the main public program at the Mini Stadium.
This ambitious itinerary underscores the government’s focus on both socio-economic upliftment and infrastructure development in Raigarh district, as it strives to empower women and bolster regional progress.
