TFP Bureau, Raipur, December 8, 2024: Forest Minister Mr. Kedar Kashyap inaugurated several key development works in Benur village, Narayanpur district, with a total investment of Rs 8 crore 42 lakh. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Revenue Minister and District In-charge Minister Mr. Tankaram Verma.
In his address, Minister Kashyap emphasized the benefits of the Chhattisgarh government’s welfare programs under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Dev Sai. He highlighted initiatives such as the Rs 3100 per quintal paddy purchase price, Rs 5500 for tendu leaves, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Nal Jal Yojana, and Mahtari Vandan Yojana, which have provided significant support to farmers and communities.
As part of the event, Minister Kashyap announced a series of new development projects, including the construction of a 50-seater girls’ hostel, a cooperative bank, a 15 lakh rupee building for Kalar Samaj, and a paddy purchasing platform at the local market. He also committed to building a drainage system in Nayanar, a compound for the Mawali Mata temple, and community halls for Yadav and Muria Samaj. Additionally, roads in the Turtha village area will be constructed, benefiting several dependent villages.
Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma also spoke about the various state government schemes benefiting 18 lakh families, including the Pradhan Mantri Awas, Mahtari Vandan, and Nal Jal Yojana. He highlighted the successful Bastar Olympics, aimed at engaging youth from the region in positive activities.
The program was attended by key community leaders, including Shri Rupasai Salam, Patron of Sarva Adivasi Samaj, former Sarpanch Shri Benur Narayan Markam, and several Panchayat representatives.
