Chief Minister praises Brahmakumaris for promoting a cultured and service-oriented society

TFP Bureau, Raipur, December 8, 2024: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated the newly constructed Brahmakumaris Gyan Manasarovar Bhawan in Rajnandgaon today, commending the Prajapita Brahmakumaris Sanstha for its continuous efforts to create a cultured and service-oriented society. During the inauguration, the Chief Minister emphasized the significance of meditation, particularly Raj Marg Rajyoga, which he said plays a vital role in alleviating stress, enhancing physical and mental well-being.

Shri Sai expressed confidence that the new Gyan Manasarovar Bhawan will be beneficial to the residents of Rajnandgaon, as regular meditation helps individuals remain calm, patient, and composed. He also praised the Brahmakumaris’ efforts in running meditation programs, calling it a true service to humanity.

The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of spiritual welfare, stating that while good governance focuses on people’s development, continuous efforts toward spiritual well-being are essential for the overall benefit of society. He also acknowledged Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s initiative in proposing the celebration of International Yoga Day, a proposal that was accepted by the United Nations and is now celebrated worldwide.

Shri Sai also spoke about the Chhattisgarh government’s initiatives, such as the Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana, which has benefited over 20,000 Shri Ram devotees in the past year. He revealed plans to connect five Shaktipeeths in the state under a new pilgrimage program.

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh praised the Brahmakumaris for their global impact, noting that the organization operates over 8,000 service centers across 145 countries. He also mentioned the Brahmakumaris’ collaboration with global organizations like the United Nations and UNICEF in the pursuit of world peace. The organization has been honored with the Peace Ambassador Award by the United Nations five times.

In her address, Rajyogini Brahma Kumari Sharda Didi, Director of the Brahma Kumaris Ambawadi Sub Zone in Ahmedabad, explained that the Brahmakumaris work towards refining the qualities, character, and values of individuals.

The new Brahmakumaris Gyan Manasarovar Bhawan in Rajnandgaon is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a large auditorium with a seating capacity of 3,000, a spacious restaurant, kitchen, and accommodations for up to 300 people. The center also houses a large meditation room to support the spiritual needs of the community.
