TFP Bureau, Raipur, December 10, 2024: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai emphasized the pivotal role of the cooperative sector in the growth and development of Chhattisgarh, while distributing appointment letters to 334 selected youth for various positions in the Cooperative Department. The ceremony, held at the New Circuit House in Raipur, also marked the virtual inauguration of several new branches of the District Cooperative Central Bank and Apex Bank across the state.
The Chief Minister reiterated his government’s commitment to transparent recruitment processes, highlighting that over 9,000 posts have been filled in the last year alone, fulfilling the aspirations of the youth in Chhattisgarh. He encouraged the selected candidates to approach their new responsibilities with dedication and integrity.
New Branches to Boost Rural Economy
Shri Sai virtually inaugurated new branches of Apex Bank in Tamnar (Raigarh district) and Bagicha (Jashpur district), as well as new District Cooperative Central Bank branches in Garhpuljhar and Sirpur. He also inaugurated a new building for Apex Bank in Jashpur. These initiatives are expected to provide crucial support to the state’s farmers and contribute to the region’s economic growth.
Addressing the candidates, the Chief Minister drew attention to the significance of cooperation in Chhattisgarh’s agricultural sector, citing the success of Amul as an example. He assured the youth that the state government was working to implement suggestions from Union Cooperative Minister Shri Amit Shah to strengthen the cooperative sector. “Cooperation will play a big role in Chhattisgarh’s development,” he added.
Transparency in Recruitment Process Praised
Finance Minister Shri OP Choudhary also congratulated the selected youth, praising the transparent recruitment processes initiated by the state government. “Our government is fulfilling its responsibilities transparently, and now it is your turn to serve with dedication and honesty,” he said.
Minister for Cooperation Shri Kedar Kashyap emphasized the importance of the cooperative sector in improving the lives of farmers. He highlighted how the new bank branches would provide vital services to the agricultural community.
The selected candidates expressed their gratitude for the transparent examination system that allowed them to secure their positions without favoritism. They also expressed their pride in contributing to the development of Chhattisgarh through the cooperative sector.
Successful Recruitment Process
The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board conducted the recruitment exams for the 334 vacancies, including positions like field officer, office assistant, and committee manager in the Cooperative Department. The successful candidates, along with their families, celebrated the milestone and thanked the Chief Minister for the efficient and fair recruitment process.
On this occasion, Commissioner of Cooperation Mr. Kuldeep Sharma, Managing Director K.N. Kande, and other departmental officers were present.
