Air Connectivity Expands in Chhattisgarh: New Flights to Connect Raipur, Ambikapur, Bilaspur

TFP Bureau, Raipur, December 17, 2024: Air services in Chhattisgarh are witnessing rapid expansion under the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai. A new flight service connecting the cities of Raipur, Ambikapur, and Bilaspur is set to commence operations on December 19, offering an affordable and efficient travel option for business travelers, tourists, and local residents.

The flights will operate three days a week—Thursday, Friday, and Saturday—under the Regional Connectivity Scheme of the Central Government. Passengers can avail themselves of the service on a first-come, first-serve basis, with the initial fare starting at just ₹999.

This initiative aims to boost regional tourism, enhance business opportunities, and support economic growth by reducing travel time and improving intercity connectivity. The new service is expected to provide a comfortable and convenient travel option, opening doors for greater development in the region.
