TFP Bureau, Raipur, January 9, 2025: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai participated in the Chaliha Mahotsav organized by Pujya Sindhu Samaj at Sindhu Amar Dham, Chakarbhatha, Bilaspur. During the event, he prayed to Lord Jhulelal for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the people of Chhattisgarh.
The Chief Minister also paid homage to Saint Shri Sai Lal Das Saheb of the Pujya Sindhu Amarnath Ashram, lauding his 40-day fast as an act of devotion that would bring blessings and prosperity to the state. Shri Sai emphasized the importance of penance, worship, and rituals, drawing parallels with the collective penance that led to the incarnation of Lord Jhulelal as Varun Avatar.
“The Sindhi community is a religion-loving and service-oriented society. Their dedication to spirituality and social welfare is commendable,” the Chief Minister remarked.
Tribute to Sindhi Community
Shri Vishnu Dev Sai acknowledged the Sindhi community’s resilience and achievements despite the hardships of partition. He praised their progress, mutual cooperation, and contributions to society, noting their strong focus on education and social service.
**Chaliha Festival Spirit**
Addressing the gathering, MLA Shri Dharam Lal Kaushik noted the festival’s significance, attracting devotees from across the country and abroad. He commended the Sindhi community for organizing medical camps during the festival, where renowned doctors voluntarily offer their services.
Shri Amit Chimnani, delivering the welcome address, expressed gratitude to Pujya Sant Lal Das Saheb, emphasizing that his penance would bring prosperity to Chhattisgarh.
The event saw the participation of prominent figures, including Divisional Commissioner Shri Mahadev Kavre, Collector Avnish Sharan, SP Rajnesh Singh, and numerous dignitaries and devotees from the Sindhi community.
