TFP Bureau, Raipur, 3 February 2025: On the auspicious occasion of the Prana Pratishtha ceremony of the idol of Gurumata Purnima Ji, wife of Param Pujya Sant Gahira Guru, at Srikot Ashram in Balrampur, Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai praised the profound impact of the teachings of Sant Gahira Guru Maharaj on the tribal community. He highlighted how Gahira Guru Ji’s philosophy brought the tribal society closer to true Sanatan Dharma, fostering social, educational, and economic development.
In his address, CM Shri Sai expressed immense pride in being part of the ceremony, emphasizing the exemplary life of Mata Purnima Ji. He described her life as an embodiment of sacrifice, penance, and social service, symbolized by the idol unveiled at the event. “Her unwavering dedication towards society’s welfare is reflected in her idol,” said the Chief Minister.
Shri Sai also lauded Sant Gahira Guru Ji’s unique approach to service, noting that the Guru exemplified the idea of serving society while leading a household life. The Guru’s teachings emphasized truth, peace, mercy, and forgiveness as essential pillars of religion. “Gahira Guru Ji’s contributions were instrumental in the upliftment of tribal communities,” added Shri Sai, urging the people to live by the principles of Mata Purnima Ji and Sant Gahira Guru Ji to bring positive change to society.
Reflecting on his personal connection to the teachings of Gahira Guru Ji, the Chief Minister shared his experience of adopting the Guru’s birth village for development during his tenure as an MP from Raigarh. He expressed gratitude for the blessings of Gahira Guru Ji and praised the continuous progress of the tribal community, citing the establishment of Sanskrit colleges and overall advancement in rural areas.
The ceremony, which witnessed the presence of many dignitaries from the tribal community, was a celebration of Gahira Guru Ji’s lasting legacy in shaping a more educated, socially conscious, and developed tribal society.
