TFP Bureau, Ahmedabad, February 10, 2025: The Adani Group, in collaboration with Mayo Clinic, is set to revolutionize healthcare in India with the launch of Adani Health City (AHC), an integrated network of world-class medical campuses. Announced by Chairman Gautam Adani, this initiative will be implemented through the Group’s not-for-profit healthcare arm, with an initial investment of over ₹6,000 crore fully funded by the Adani family.
The first two AHC campuses will be established in Mumbai and Ahmedabad, each featuring a 1,000-bed multi-super-specialty hospital, a medical college with an annual intake of 150 undergraduate students, 80+ residents, and 40+ fellows, along with step-down care and advanced research facilities. The vision of AHC is to make top-tier healthcare accessible to all, train future medical professionals, and pioneer research in fields like artificial intelligence and biomedical informatics.
Strategic Collaboration with Mayo Clinic
To ensure global standards in healthcare delivery, the Adani Group has engaged Mayo Clinic Global Consulting, the advisory arm of the renowned U.S.-based Mayo Clinic. Mayo Clinic will provide strategic guidance on clinical practices, digital healthcare integration, and quality enhancement.
“Two years ago, as a gift for my 60th birthday, my family pledged ₹60,000 crore towards healthcare, education, and skill development,” said Gautam Adani. “The launch of Adani Health City is the first of many transformative projects under this initiative. With Mayo Clinic as our strategic partner, we aim to elevate India’s healthcare standards, particularly in complex disease care and medical innovation, ensuring high-quality, affordable healthcare for all.”
