TFP Bureau, Raipur, February 27, 2025: The newly elected Mayor and Councilors of Raipur Municipal Corporation took the oath of office today at a grand ceremony held at Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai graced the event, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to transforming Raipur into a model city.
Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh administered the oath ward-wise to the newly elected representatives, with Smt. Meenal Chaubey officially sworn in as the Mayor. In his address, CM Sai congratulated the new leadership and expressed confidence in their ability to fulfill the promises outlined in the Atal Vishwas Patra. He urged them to work diligently toward making Raipur cleaner, better organized, and more prosperous.
Following the ceremony, Mayor Meenal Chaubey honored Chief Minister Sai, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma, along with Cabinet Ministers, former Mayors, and other dignitaries, presenting them with mementos as a token of appreciation.
The event was attended by prominent leaders, including Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, Finance Minister OP Choudhary, MP Brijmohan Agrawal, and MLAs Rajesh Munat, Kiran Dev, Sunil Soni, Motilal Sahu, Purandar Mishra, and Anuj Sharma. Former Assembly Speaker Gaurishankar Agrawal and several other public representatives also graced the occasion.
Municipal Commissioner Abinash Mishra concluded the ceremony by expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, elected representatives, and citizens for their presence and support in shaping Raipur’s future.
