TFP Bureau,Raipur; Sep12, 2023: In a momentous event held in Sector-35 of Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel laid the foundation stone for three pivotal projects: the ‘Commercial Hub,’ ‘Aerocity,’ and the ‘Shaheed Memorial.’ These initiatives mark a significant leap forward for Chhattisgarh, heralding a new era of economic prosperity and cultural enrichment.
During his address, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel emphasized the historical significance of the day. He underscored that today’s ceremonies mark the inception of the nation’s largest wholesale commercial market in Nava Raipur, a development poised to generate employment opportunities for lakhs of residents.
The Chief Minister explained that these groundbreaking ceremonies, including Bhoomi Pujan and foundation stone laying, are forward-looking gestures, guided by the expectations of the state’s populace. He highlighted the government’s commitment to fostering an environment conducive to progress. This commitment extends to the welfare of farmers, the enhancement of school education, and the promotion of Chhattisgarh’s rich culture and tourism.
Furthermore, Mr. Baghel emphasized the government’s dedicated efforts to create an industry-friendly environment. He pointed out that by optimizing the state’s industrial policy, Chhattisgarh has successfully attracted more industries, resulting in increased employment opportunities for its citizens.
A Boon for Business: Plots in Nava Raipur’s Commercial Hub at Rs 540 per Square Foot
Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel made a significant announcement in response to the business community’s demands. He revealed that plots in Nava Raipur’s ‘Commercial Hub’ would be allocated at the rate of Rs 540 per square foot. The state government would shoulder the additional construction costs incurred in establishing this commercial hub.
Housing and Environment Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar, presiding over the foundation stone ceremony for various projects under the Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Vikas Authority’s purview, highlighted the government’s unwavering commitment to strengthening the economic prospects of the common populace under Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel’s leadership. He emphasized that providing employment opportunities remains a top priority, ensuring that Chhattisgarh continues to flourish.
The ‘Commercial Hub,’ sprawling across 1083 acres in Sectors 23, 24, 34, 35, and 40, aims to boost investment, settlement, and commercial activities in Nava Raipur. Similarly, ‘Aerocity’ is slated for development in 216.63 acres in villages Baroda and Ramchandi near Swami Vivekananda Airport. This development will enhance passenger facilities in Layer-3 of Nava Raipur, stimulate commercial growth around the airport, and generate employment opportunities.
The ‘Shaheed Memorial’ will stand on 13 acres in the VIP battalion in village Parsada (Sector-3) of Nava Raipur, serving as a testament to the valor and sacrifice of the state’s heroes.
Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey, MLA Shri Dhanendra Sahu, Special Advisor to the Chief Minister Dr. Rakesh Gupta, and officials of the Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce graced the occasion, underlining the collective commitment to the state’s prosperity and growth.
