Union Minister Anurag Thakur Launches ‘Bhu-Pay’ App to Expose Alleged Corruption in Bhupesh Government

TFP Bureau, Raipur, Oct 05, 2023: In a significant development, Union Minister Anurag Thakur arrived in Raipur and convened a press conference, where he unveiled the “Bhu-Pay” app. This app, accessible by scanning a ground barcode, promises to provide comprehensive insights into what the opposition alleges as corruption within the Bhupesh government.

The Launch of ‘Bhu-Pay’ App:

Union Minister Anurag Thakur introduced the “Bhu-Pay” app, directing users to the http://bhupaykaro.com/?s=08 website upon scanning. This digital platform is poised to reveal details about various controversies and alleged corruption scandals involving the Bhupesh government.

During the launch, Union Minister Thakur drew historical parallels, emphasizing the transformation that Chhattisgarh underwent under BJP governance. He recounted the challenges faced by the state before the BJP government’s tenure, highlighting the pivotal role played by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the creation of Chhattisgarh as a separate state. Thakur asserted that the BJP government had ushered in new dimensions of development in Chhattisgarh. However, he lamented the impact of the Congress government’s five-year rule on the state, citing issues such as child mortality, protests by thousands of personnel, and increased mandi taxes.

Union Minister Thakur also took aim at Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, suggesting that the current administration had fostered an environment conducive to alleged scams and land-related controversies.

Former CM Dr. Raman Singh’s Critique:

Former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh joined the press conference and echoed Union Minister Thakur’s sentiments. Dr. Singh criticized the Congress government for failing to fulfill its election promises, and he alleged a series of scandals, including a 600 crore rice scam, a 2,161 crore liquor scandal, and a 5,000 crore scam related to the Kalyan Ann Yojana for the poor. He also mentioned a 1300 crore Gothan scam and a 229 crore cow dung scandal. Additionally, Dr. Singh accused the government of deceiving youth in the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) recruitment process and offering gambling training through the Mahadev app.

In response to these allegations, Dr. Singh affirmed that the opposition had chosen to engage with the public and raise awareness about these issues. He highlighted the Parivartan Yatra initiated on September 12, which commenced in Dantewada and Jashpur and concluded with a Parivartan Mahasankalp rally in Bilaspur on September 30. Dr. Singh noted that this initiative had garnered significant public support and enthusiasm across the state.

The launch of the “Bhu-Pay” app adds a new dimension to the political discourse in Chhattisgarh, promising to shed light on alleged corruption within the Bhupesh government.
