Traffic Police Raipur announces route and parking arrangements for the upcoming cricket match

TFP Bureau, Raipur; Nov 29, 2023: As the excitement builds for the fourth match of the India vs Australia T-20 series scheduled at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Nava Raipur on December 1, 2023, the Traffic Police Raipur has diligently planned route and parking arrangements for the smooth movement of spectators from different districts of the state.

Key Traffic and Parking Arrangements:

1. Route via Raipur City:
Spectators traveling via Raipur city will follow the route through Telibandha Police Station, Tiraha National Highway No. 53, Serikhedi Overbridge, New Raipur Road, Stadium Tiraha, Sai Hospital Road, and finally, reach the stadium on foot after parking at Sai Hospital Parking.

2. Bilaspur Side Route:
Spectators from Bilaspur will take the route via Bilaspur-Raipur road, Dhaneli Nala to Ring Road No. 03, Vidhan Sabha Chowk, Raju Dhaba Ring Road, and park at Parsada parking and Kosa parking on the east side of the stadium.

3. Balodabazar-Kharora Side Route:
Those coming from Balodabazar-Kharora will travel via Balodabazar-Kharora road, Vidhan Sabha Overbridge Chowk, Ring Road No. 03, Vidhan Sabha Chowk, Raju Dhaba Ring Road, and park at Parsada parking and Kosa parking.

4. Visitors from Balod, Kanker, and Dhamtari:
Visitors from Dhamtari-Jagdalpur will travel from Abhanpur via Kendari, Upwara, Mantralaya Chowk, Kotrabhatha, Sendh Talab to Sai Hospital Parking and Sendh Talab Parking.

5. Visitors from Rajnandgaon-Durg Side:
Visitors from Durg and Rajnandgaon will take Ring Road 01 from Tatibandh via Pachpedhinaka-Lalpur-Mana-Toota to Naya Raipur road, Satyasai Hospital Parking, and Sendh Talab Parking.

6. Visitors from Mahasamund-Saraipali Side:
Spectators coming from Mahasamund-Saraipali will turn directly to the stadium from Arang, park at Parsada parking and Kosa parking, and reach the stadium on foot.

Pass Holder Vehicles:
Pass holders with parking passes for A, B, C, D, E, and Reserve can use the route via Serikhedi overbridge from Naya Raipur entry road to Stadium turning, Dr. Khubchand Baghel Chowk, Kayabandha Chowk (From Sector 15/21), Kotrabantha Chowk (Sector-17/20) via Village Sendh Sector-04/10, and park in Stadium Parking A, B, C, D, E, and Reserve.

Restrictions on Medium/Heavy Goods Vehicles:
Medium/heavy goods vehicles will be prohibited from entering Naya Raipur on all entry routes from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am on the day of the match to ensure smooth traffic arrangements.

Public Advisory:
Prohibited items include liquor, beedi, cigarette, tobacco, gutkha, pan masala, matchbox, lighter, laser light, firecracker, knife, scissor, cutter, nail cutter, pin, coins, screwdriver, palash, selfie sticks, water bottles, cold drink bottles, cans, loud hailers, city horns, radios, inflammatory and alarming signals, and bags containing food items.
– Allowed items include phones with cameras, small personal cameras, women’s makeup, perfumes, and liquids less than 3 oz.

The Traffic Police Raipur encourages the general public to adhere to these guidelines for a safe and enjoyable cricket match experience.
